Fundraisers: Mr.-Miss Independence Day Pageant
Mr.-Miss Independence Day 2010 will be held on Thursday, July 1 at the Purchase Players Theatre.

Details:
Begins 7:00pm at the Purchase Players Theatre: South 9th Street, Mayfield, Kentucky.

Winners will serve as the Grand Marshals of the 4th of July Kids Parade July 3rd in Mayfield. Overall King and Queen will each receive a $100 Savings Bond from FNB Bank, a $50 Savings Bond from First KY Bank and tickets to the Princess Theater in Mayfield. King Photography will be the official pageant photographer.
Audience Choice Award:
Each contestant may bring a container (box, bag, can, etc.) decorated with his or her name and picture. Audience members may vote for their favorite contestant with donations. Every $1 counts as one vote. The contestant with the most votes is the “Audience Choice” Winner. All monies donated will go to The Lighthouse.
Age divisions:
Boys: 0-23 months and 2-5 years
Girls: 0-23 months, 2-4 years, 5-7 years, 8-10 years and 11-13 years.
A King and A Queen in each age division receive a crown and trophy. Trophies are given in each age division for:
1st and 2nd Alternate • Red, White, & Blue Play or Casual Wear • Best Personality and Stage Presence
Other prizes may be offered before the pageant. All entrants receive a participation trophy.
Entry Fee:
$40.00 - All entries must be pre-registered and submitted by 12:00pm on June 28.
No door entries will be accepted.
All proceeds go to benefit The Lighthouse.
